My can for garbage has arrived-and so has socialism in its worst form. Has any one read th einstructions? The bin must be placed the correct width away from the green bin,DO NOT leave on the side walk, you can use and leave black plastic bags at the side but after November said bags must have tags on provided by the city! My questions are why not just have tags and bags, and how do we move these bins through the snow! A daft idea that just gives those in charge more controll. Get out your rulers and measure!

I can certainly understand your point.

Ihave a postage stamp-sized front yard, no garage and very narrow walkways on either side of the house. There's no way I can keep this bin in the backyard even if I were strong enough to carry it and I am not.

Across the street are rowhomes; soon the view from my living room window will be nothing but recycling bins and garbage bins.

The words unsightly and impractical come to mind. And, I'm expected to pay for all this. Toronto City Councillors must be utterly oblivious to the realities of this city and how urban people actually live.
