My new Canon CanoScan 8800F scanner has been working hard, scanning prints, negatives, and slides of Judy Taylor and the area she lived in. And I’ve at last finished scanning and fixing them. As you can imagine, some of these decades-old slides were faded, some were a bit blurred being photos of photos, and some had many scratches and dust on them. (I should get an air brush to dust my slides before scanning.) But Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 with its retouching features fixed most of them. I’ve uploaded a few to Flickr and created a set just for these photos. I will be using them in another Lifeliner-related project. Look here soon for the end results!
